
Jessica Stewart
Jessica Stewart received her PhD from the History of Art Department at UC Berkeley in 2015. Focusing on the artistic patronage of foreign merchant communities in sixteenth-century Antwerp, her research has been underwritten by the Center for Advanced Studies in the Visual Arts, the Kress Foundation, the Fulbright Commission, and the Belgian American Educational Foundation. In 2016-2017, she was a fellow at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, where she collaborated with Bay Area school teachers on an interdisciplinary, object-based curriculum.
